new pots!
top: left wheel thrown porcelain bowl. glazed with 5 different glazes.

middle: Stoneware tray glazed in a red shino.

bottom: Handbuilt stoneware bowl red iron oxide and turquoise glaze.
Fired to cone 10 -11

Hi, I have been working on a series of masks in porcelain. Thought i had better get busy posting some of them while I had some time on my hands.

New porcelain masks

This Mask Is made of porcelain, fired to cone 11 reduction. The glaze is a reduction copper red.

Here is a couple of items from the cone 10 firing last week. I am working on a series of masks in porcelain. ai will be posting later on.

New things from the Kiln this week! D's plate and creamer and my wee vase!

I just signed up for another 6 week pottery course. Making up a request list of items we want the instructor to demonstrate. Will be taking pictures of some of my class pots and posting them. I finally managed to open our lidded cannisters without chipping any of them, GO ME!!!
